Strawberry Cake Filling

Ingredients:

In a small saucepan, combine the cornstarch and water.

Add the cut strawberries, lemon juice, and sugar. Stir well.

Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously, for 10 to 12 minutes.

Let the strawberry filling cool before pouring into a glass jar.

It will thicken as it cools, then use it to fill your favorite cakes!
