- 3 cups oat milk
- 3 tbsp dutch cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp sugar
- ¾ cup dark chocolate chips Note 1
In a medium saucepan, whisk together the cocoa powder and sugar.
Pour in the oat milk and stir very well.
Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
Turn the heat down, add the chocolate and whisk continuously until melted.
Remove from the heat. Carefully pour the mixture into mugs and serve.
- Note 1: For vegan hot chocolate, be sure to use vegan chocolate chips.
- For a less intense chocolatey flavor, use 4 cups of oat milk.
- Store leftover oat milk hot chocolate in the refrigerator.
- Reheat in the microwave until warmed through.
