Frozen bananas make a surprisingly smooth and sweet ice cream. You can make it in so many flavors but one of my favorites is mint chocolate chip nice cream. It's creamy, gluten-free, dairy-free, and a breeze to make!
3bananas, cut into chunks & frozen280 grams or 2 cups
2 to 3tbspunsweetened almond milk
⅓cupchocolate chips, finely chopped
⅛t.peppermint extract
Instructions
Place the frozen bananas into a high speed blender with one tablespoon of almond milk, the peppermint extract, and blend on high.
Stop the blender and scrape down the sides with a spatula. Do this a couple times until the bananas begin to blend into a creamy and thick ice cream. If you need to you can add another tablespoon or two of almond milk.
Once the mixture looks like ice cream add the chocolate chips and then scoop into a bowl and enjoy!
