The Best Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients:

Vanilla extract

Powdered sugar

Unsalted butter

Cream cheese

Beat butter on medium speed for 30 seconds. Doing so ensures you won't have any cold lumps of butter in the frosting.

Add cream cheese and vanilla to the butter and beat for 1 minute.

Add 1 ½ cups of powdered sugar. Beat on low for 5 seconds, then beat on medium high for 1 minute.

Add remaining powdered sugar and beat for 1 more minute.

Use the cream cheese frosting to pipe onto cupcakes. Double the recipe for a large cake.
