This blackened swordfish makes a delicious and quick weeknight dinner!

Ingredients:

Olive oil

Cajun spices

Swordfish

Unsalted butter

Lemon zest

Lemon juice

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat a 12-inch oven-safe nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.

In a small bowl, combine the spices. Mix with a spoon. Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon of top of each steak.

Add the olive oil to the hot skillet. Carefully place the steaks into the skillet, seasoned side down.

Let the steaks sear for 5 minutes. Do not move them. Carefully turn them over and place the skillet in the preheated oven.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. When it's opaque and flakes easily, it's done!

Top each piece of swordfish with cajun butter. Enjoy immediately!
