Roasted Butternut Squash with Brown Sugar

Ingredients:

Butternut squash

Unsalted butter

Brown sugar

Pumpkin pie spice

Kosher salt

Cut the top off the butternut squash, so you have a flat edge.

Place the knife on top of the squash and carefully cut it in half vertically.

Use a spoon to scoop out the seeds and goop.

Place the butternut squash halves on a sheet pan. Melt the butter.

Brush each half with melted butter, then top generously with the spiced brown sugar.

Roast at 400 degrees until the squash is tender, about 54 minutes.
