Gluten-Free Waffles

Everyone needs a stand out waffle recipe in their pocket. This gluten-free recipe is a definite keeper!

INGREDIENTS

– gluten-free all        purpose flour – cornstarch – baking powder – baking soda – kosher salt – buttermilk – milk – vegetable oil – sugar – egg whites – egg yolk

Preheat oven & waffle maker. Combine all dry ingredients, except the sugar, in a large bowl.

Combine buttermilk, milk, vegetable oil & egg yolk.  Whisk together.

In a medium bowl, beat egg whites until frothy. Sprinkle in  sugar & beat to stiff peaks.

Combine wet & dry ingredients. Fold the egg whites into the batter until completely folded in.
