Apple Crisp

 Without Oats

This apple crisp without oats is made with sliced pink lady apples and a sweet crumb topping!  It's quick and easy with simple ingredients like flour, sugar, and apples. Enjoy it with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream!

INGREDIENTS

APPLE FILLING:      – peeled & sliced               apples      – unsalted butter      – lemon juice      – brown sugar      – kosher salt

TOPPING:      –unsalted butter      – sugar      – brown sugar      – all-purpose flour      – lemon zest

Combine apples, lemon juice, brown sugar & kosher salt. Toss well.

For the topping, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, flour & lemon zest. Use your fingers to mix well.

In a large skillet, heat 1 ½ tbsp of butter on med-high heat.

Add apple mixture to a greased pan & cook until slightly soft.  Stir occasionally.

Carefully pour the apple mixture into the baking dish. Top with crumble topping.

Bake for 35 minutes. Enjoy warm with vanilla ice cream.
